I am a Senior Dance Management Major at Oklahoma City University, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. My journey with dance began at the age of six. It was during my time at Revere Dance Studio that I realized my passion for dance was more than just a hobby—it was something I wanted to turn into a lifelong career.

While dance has always been central to my life, my time at OCU introduced me to the world of arts management, and during my sophomore year, I discovered my newest passion in this field. Since then, I have embraced opportunities that combine my love for performance and my talent for organization and leadership. My favorite management roles include serving as Assistant to the Artistic Director for the Holiday Spectacular, Stage Manager of the Student Choreography Show, and Assistant Stage Manager for MOVE!: Dance for the World of Entertainment.

In addition to management, I have a deep appreciation for costuming, which began during my Freshman Costume Lab course. I’ve had the privilege of working as a Costume Shop Assistant for two years in the Ann Lacy Costume Shop, and I currently serve as the Student Professional there. These experiences have allowed me to hone my skills and contribute to productions in a meaningful way.

Costume Designer: Jessica Telfer

Artistic Director: Tiffany van der Merwe

Performers: Addison Alberda (Left) & Josie Wheeley (Right)

As a performer, I’ve been honored to be a featured dancer in both the Holiday Spectacular and MOVE! productions. I’ve also served as a Line Captain, ensuring every detail of the performance runs smoothly. My dedication to excellence has been recognized with the Cobalt Award for Junior Management.

Beyond the stage and studio, I am a proud member of Alpha Phi Delta Delta Chapter, where I’ve held several leadership positions, including Marshal, Guard, and Director of Philanthropy. I had the honor of serving as their Homecoming Court representative where I was named Homecoming Royalty!  In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, biking, spending quality time with friends and family, game nights, and relaxing with a quiet evening at home.

These experiences have shaped me into a well-rounded individual, blending creativity, leadership, and passion for the arts. I look forward to continuing my journey and making a meaningful impact in the world of arts and entertainment.
