What’s New?
In my most recent performances, I had the privilege of being a featured performer in Holiday Spectacular and MOVE!: Dance for the World of Entertainment. These shows allowed me to showcase my versatility across various styles, including tap, musical theatre, commercial jazz, and hip hop. Each style challenged me to bring energy, precision, and character to the stage, and I loved the opportunity to share my passion for dance with audiences in such dynamic and exciting productions.
Performing
Serving as one of the Stage Managers for the Student Choreography Show was an incredible experience that deepened my appreciation for the creative process behind the scenes. Collaborating closely with choreographers, dancers, and the production team, I ensured that each piece came together seamlessly. From coordinating schedules to managing rehearsals and overseeing the technical elements during performances, I loved being part of a team that brought these original works to life. It was both challenging and rewarding to help create a platform for students to share their artistic visions. One of the best parts about this experience was being surrounded by all my friends and watching them shine!
Student Choreography Show
Choreographing and teaching four tap numbers for the Children's Theatre of Cincinnati's STAR Camp was an incredibly rewarding experience and marked my first time choreographing professionally. Working with young performers, I had the opportunity to introduce them to the energy and precision of tap dance while fostering their confidence and creativity. Each piece was tailored to highlight their unique abilities and tell a story through rhythm and movement. Seeing their growth and enthusiasm throughout the camp was inspiring, and it was an honor to contribute to their artistic journey in such a meaningful way.
